Inspiration
The same things that inspired me as a young boy continue to inspire me today. I have a great love of nature. I gain inspiration from a single swell rushing towards the shore, or the sunlight’s dazzling beauty peaking from behind a cloud. I love to use color, shape, light, shadow and texture to create images that evoke emotion. When I was a young boy, my tool of choice was a pencil, a pen and some paper to create images, logos, art… I now use a tablet and a stylus to the same end. My tools may have become more sophisticated, but my intention is just the same, to create images that evoke emotion and inspire action.
Tools & Skills
To be a multimedia artist, one must have the command of a wide range of tools. My arsenal includes a Canon DSLR & lavalier for video production, a Mac, a tablet, and years of production experience. When it comes to the applications I use to develop media, I rely heavily on Adobe’s master suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Flash) as well as Apple’s Final Cut Pro, Motion, DVD Studio, Compressor and Keynote.
In addition to my computer and design proficiency, I employ critical thinking and problem solving skills. I use these skills to develop marketing campaigns as well as troubleshoot various computer hardware and software issues that frequently arise in media development. I also enjoy building and maintaining long-term client relationships, and have years of experience providing superior customer service in a variety of settings. Due to my calm disposition and empathetic nature, I have often been recognized for my ability to effectively listen to and address client concerns.
Personal
I have been married for over 10 years, enjoy being active outdoors (skateboarding, snowboarding, biking, hiking, etc.), a well-crafted burrito and taking the challenges of life head-on with great enthusiasm.
